LifeMoves Mountain View

UrbanBloc provided modular bathroom and food service buildings for LifeMoves Mountain View, a modular interim housing facility to serve the homeless.  LifeMoves used this innovative modular approach to quickly build the complex and begin providing services to the homeless in an effort to alleviate the dire homeless situation in Silicon Valley.  Governor Newsom instituted the Homekey program to fund this an other efforts throughout the State to address homelessness.

With our expertise in transforming containers into highly sophisticated buildings, UrbanBloc, was hired by LifeMoves and Sares Regis group of Northern California to provide two bathroom and shower buildings each equipped with 4 bathrooms and 3 showers, a staff bathroom, a laundry building and a suite of three food service buildings to provide meals for the residents and staff.  The seven buildings were constructed from converted shipping containers in 4 months in our factory in San Leandro California and arrived at the Mountain View site fully permitted, tested and approved by the State of CA.
